A MUST GO!! If you're in Red Bluff, don't go anywhere, but here! Not only is the "Famous E6" out of this world delicious, but the company is equally matched! Babs (owner for 35 years) made us feel like we were at home and her son, Elmer III, is just as charming and one heck of a cook! Everyone there, including Moe (a patron who deserves a bar stool with his name on it), felt like long lost friends. In summary: delicious food, charming views and incredible company. Don't miss it!
Sincerely,
Travelers from Vegas -

Great little spot for a nice view of the river, great customer service, and yummy pizza. Homemade dough, tasty crust. We are just passing through but if we ever come back to red bluff we will be back!

Ice cold beer and friendly conversation. Sports on TV too. Do yourself a favor and drop by this divey little bar with a river view for the most wonderful delicious pizza pie and world famous calzone named the E-6. Its huge and big enough to share.
Lots of stuff hanging on the walls. Strike up a conversation with the folks sitting next to you. -

So getting here was weird. I love weird. I drove thru a very quiet, residential neighborhood to get here. I was about to lose hope as I drove around the last curve. I Iooked to my left & saw a smallish apartment complex. Looked to my right & there it was: E's.
E's is in a well aged, light blue, A-framed house under a tree. The water is about 20 feet behind the building. Yes, the entrance *is* on the front (the doormat is your clue) - where you just parked in the dirt.
I was in bright sun when I opened the door. BLACK - Couldn't see anything! As my eyes focused, I saw an awkward, cement-floored room with two kids ride on toys.
Uhhh...what?
WAIT... I thought I was in a bar!
Go into the darker room & there's the bar. Ceiling covered in sports posters. Ceiling fans turning. Taxidermied elk (& more) on the walls. Some family photos on the walls too. WOW!
I just noticed that there's a fireplace in here. Go figure!
Turns out they serve pizza, beer & wine, and the regular stuff: sodas, etc. Families are welcome. Heck everyone is welcome. Then there's the back deck... what a view!! Seriously, it's stunning. I'm here at 5:20pm - the water's rolling by like silk. It's beautiful.
I love dive bars. I love neighborhood dive bars more. The last time I was in a place like this there were bras hanging from the ceiling. That bar is weird too.
GO HERE. Period! There's a friendly, down home vibe & friendly people. While I was here three people went behind the bar. One actually worked here Not a problem. These people are real, down home people. Come to this place if you don't *put on airs*. Warm & welcoming. If you want a fern bar or a status bar, this ain't it.
Wonderful place. I could stay here for a long time. -

Great pizza (best crust ever!) with fresh ingredients! My family and I (with our dog) were traveling from Portland to Santa Barbara and this no frills spot right on the Sacramento was a serene stop. We walked down to the river, played horse shoes and enjoyed the beautiful views. The owner, Elmer (his dad, also named Elmer opened it in 1984) served us (order at the bar) and was very friendly. His young son, also Elmer, was helping his dad too. A must stop to support a long time family business!
